Wild Card, Wild Postseason so far.

What an exciting start to the 2016 MLB Playoffs. Last night the Blue Jays and Orioles put on an epic power display. Bautista, Machado and Edwin Encarnacion all homered in the game. None was bigger than Encarnacion walk off three run for the blue jays in the bottom of the 11th. Two games in, two game-winning three run homer runs. You can’t script it any better than this.

The pitching matchup between Syndergaard and Bumgarner vastly exceed everyone’s expectations. You knew it was going to be a phenomenal pitching duel , but who could have predicted this. They matched each other pitch for pitch. 16 combined strikeouts, ZERO earned runs, seven hits combined, and a complete game shutout for Madison Bumgarner. This will go down as one of the greatest pitching duels in postseason history. Bumgarner continues to cement his legacy as the greatest postseason pitchers of all time.

If these two wildcard games are any indication we’re in for a wild and exiting riding. It’s only two games in, but the 2016 MLB playoffs has something for everyone. Pitching, clutch hitting and juicy storylines like; Blue Jays vs Rangers, David Ortiz last postseason appearance, and an even year for the San Francisco Giants. Who says baseball isn’t entertaining?
